PILOT'S CORNER

The first trip this year brought us to Norma, south of Rome. The way is long, around 1.000 kilometres through nearly whole Italy you have to drive.

When blurry eyes peered out of the camper van window in the early hours (9am is early when your on holiday), there was nothing but blue..... a great day had arrived. After several days where the flying was fun but not spectacular, today was looking better. Russ had arranged to take a friend up on the tandem, so the ´parataxi´ was ordered for 11am.

A week in the Provence / France beside of the Verdon canyon.

A great weekend with a great Fides 2 glider from Sky! Saturday in the „Gasteiner-“ valley at 3300m and sunday in „Werfenweng“ / „Tennengebirge“ at 3500m. Hopefully EN will become legal soon in Austria then I will switch to Atis 2.

When you are in the mood of having some real relaxation … Sit back … Take a deep breath … Look around slowly … The frames almost stop … And you say, yes … That is why we left that well-protected place when we were born …

Recently,we decided to escape from the bad austrian weather forecast and so we drove to Italy with our families and flying friends to spend the latest weekend at the Gardasee.
